Worst case:  new medical, new police certificate, (and) updated support affidavit.  That is NOT a fun review if you are not living in and working in the US and it is you, the petitioner, who will get scorched on that.

Thank you so much. I think you are spot on. And I wish I was smart enough to delay the interview. Anyway, can you pls explain what you mean by "the petitioner, who will get scorched on that."?

Petitioner moving out of the US for a few months is gonna raise eyebrows.

And also what is meant here - I am not moving out, I am maintaining my us residence. I just like to be on Bodrum shore rather than NJ in the the summer. I am not representing that i have to go - this is a choice. What eyebrows is it raising?

Have fun trying that.  I advise against risking it.

Scorched is what you get if you aren’t living and working in the US.  If you are still gainfully employed?  Not likely to be an issue.  Otherwise, it’s either a joint sponsor or a full combing of your resources and assets, and I am positive you will have to submit an updated affidavit.

Eyebrows are always raised if you dont or appear to not be residing in the US.  Just an extra hurdle that the USC / sponsor has to explain.
