Finally called the USCIS because we are out of the normal time frame and spoke to a real person and were told to call back in 45 days to recheck on application. At least now they know we are alive and kicking in Wisconsin.

Not sure why you're excited about this? "Call back in 45 days" is the standard response they give on the misinformation hotline. I was told that when I called them, it doesn't mean squat.

That was pretty much what they told me.."we are trying to catch up..sorry we are behind...your case looks good, seems like you are through...call back in 30 days if you haven't heard anything...."
