Each item shows a different side of your relationship, so multiple things help complete the picture. Basically present as complete a picture from when/how you met up till when you file.

Attach it all.

Letters, phone bills, screenshots of chats, emails, travel history to Ghana or US, photos together with family, wedding photos, birth cert of kids if any, combined finances (listed as 401k beneficiary, joint tax returns, joint accounts, credit cards), lease agreement, insurance (these are just a few of the proofs that you can add)

 

Mine was submitted via mail so I have not seen the options displayed in the electronic format but it is the same documents that is being asked for. As some things may not be available to you due to both of you are not in the same place so submit what you have.

 

I would recommend affidavits as a very last option they don't count for much. You can get anybody to sign anything these days.
