On march 6th its gonna be 13 months since we recieved our NOA1. We filed in texas cervice centre and seems like we're the only one from this center waiting that long for an approval. Is anyone else from the texas uscis center waiting 12+ months to get approved??😫😫

I see from the other thread you started that you have submitted an inquiry for it being outside processing times and not heard back. Have you tried calling and getting a Tier 2 officer to discuss your case (and confirmed that it is still in Texas)? Contacted the CIS Ombudsman? It's probably time to be a polite, but persistent pest until you at least get a response.

PS: I would try not to think about what is happening with others' cases, but instead focus more on the fact that you are outside normal processing times and use that as a good reason to continue to follow up.

On March 10 it will be 13 months for me. I received my NOA1 last February 10, 2020. Mine is at the Potomac service center though. I've seen on other threads that Feburary/March files are getting approvals...but I'm not sure if they skipped over mine or what. They did not send me and request for evidence or anything either...so I am not sure what the delay is...

I feel you!😫 its a really long time to wait for an approval and there is nothing we can do about it then wait... I hope for both of us we hear back something soon. was you able already to request your case outside of processing times?

No my husband always just called the texas uscis but since a while he was not able anymore to get with anyone on the phone, it was always the robot on the phone. and what is an CIS Ombudsman?

and you're right I was just worried if this is maybe a bad sign they getting anyone else approved before us, like theyre not sure with ours yet.. but hopefully we do get approved.

I will help you out this time with the link, but typing in "CIS Ombudsman" on any search engine would have led you directly here:

https://www.dhs.gov/topic/cis-ombudsman

Search the forums and you will also find examples of strategies on how to reach a live person at USCIS. If you create (or already have) a MyUSCIS account you should also be able to send messages related to your case there as well.

There are a number of options to try, but you're going to have to be proactive and take the initiative.
