Signature required for green card delivery?

Hey all,

I am supposed to get my green card in the mail on Tuesday. There is a lot of contradictory information online about whether or not a signature is required. I've seen some sites say that from Oct. 2, 2020, they are requiring them (I got my EAD in august and it was not required). Can anyone chime in on this? Has there been a signature requirement update ij the last few months or not?

Thanks

My personal experience, no, signature was not required and it was delivered by USPS to my mailbox.

Sign up for USPS Informed Delivery. That way you'll see the incoming USCIS mail's tracking number. And if it requires signature, it will show up on the tracking page.

You can actually enroll your e-signature with USPS and it will release signature required mails without the need for you to physically sign for them.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
