So, it’s me again worrying 😳

my apt is at 7:30 am for my citizenship interview at our local field office.
right now where we live there has been lots of snow and ice. I’m expecting the weather should be ok on the day of my interview, but what happens if the office was to have a late start? Let’s say they open at 9 instead of 7:30. So I still get to have my appointment on that day? Or do I lose my spot? I wonder if anyone who has been in this situation could reassure me... I would hate to be rescheduled again  😢

I just saw another post where the same thing happened, they arrived and the office was closed because of the snow. Their Interview was cancelled and they need to wait for reschedule.

Let’s hope they don’t cancel for high of 47 with mix of snow and rain 😭 right now that’s what they gave me.

Unless you get a notice in your email/inbox/portal or a call from USCIS stating that your interview is canceled, I would recommend still showing up there. When they open just walk in with your interview notice. Maybe they will find a way to squeeze you in. You just don't want them to say that you missed the interview somehow. If there is a way to not have to reschedule, it's best to hope they take you in that day as to avoid more delays.

Thanks! I definitely agree. And yeah especially since I’ve been rescheduled before I’m sure they’d just try and take me in. But yes let’s hope! Right now the weather on that day doesn’t look too terrible so I have hope!
