Can i use the online passport filler before i become a citizen? anyone has experience ?

im thinking applying passport on the date of my up coming oath ceremony. but i want to fill out the form first

 

is there requirement like you have to be a citizen AT THE TIME of using the online tool to filling the form, because i saw information about they will save the information in the system

yes,   go to this site and print out the form

all instructions are there

take this application in person to post office (that does passports )  

you need also to have passport photos 

i would make a copy of the naturalization document before sending it out

You can and I did the same way . I filled out all the forms and kept everything ready ,even booked the appointment with USPS on the afternoon of the naturalization day . I got the NC in the morning 11 AM and submitted all the docs in the USPS 2 PM same day . No issues and received the passport in 3 weeks (paid for expedite and additional $ 17 for priority shipment back)
