Are you sure about that, Yodrak?

I wouldn't let it stop you from mailing it in - worst case is an RFE - but the I-129F says all additional pages should be signed and dated. Don't know if YOU signing it would be a problem. I'd probably leave it alone and see what happens - likely nothing - but the forms are pretty clear. (I know this is the G-325A, but the instructions on that aspect seem to over lap).

I-129F/K1

5-29-07 Packet 3 returned, few days later than planned due to bank holiday weekend

6-06-07 Medical in London (called to schedule on May 29)

6-11-07 "Medical in file" at Embassy

6-14-07 Resent packet 3 to Embassy after hearing nothing about first try

6-22-07 DOS says "applicant now eligible for interview," ie: they enter p3 into their system

6-25-07 DOS says interview date is August 21

6-28-07 Help from our congressional representative gives us new interview date: July 6

If it was my application, I would make sure that page was signed and dated by both the petitioner and the beneficiary, just in case.

Why leave yourself open to RFE? But then again, I also believe in sending as much information as possible with the I-129F, whereas some people feel that sending too much info may cause problems.

RFEs aren't fun, BUT, in this case, I wouldn't say it is a guaranteed RFE (from what we know) and it depends what would take more time: fixing things NOW or being ready to send in the requested item *if* and RFE should issue. That's up to the OP.

Daisy,

So it does. But I've never done it, and I've never had an RFE.

Specifically with regard to the G-325A, the form in question here, I fall back once again on the professional opinion of folinskyinla - the G-325A is an obsolescent form that he doubts the USCIS even looks at. (Google the name with G-325A and you'll find a large number of posts where he says this.)

It doesn't take a whole lot of effort to sign and date a page, so I will agree that a prudent person might do it.

HE needs to sign. Legally, he can only sign.

However, your spouse can download the form at an internet cafe, print it out, sign it and send it to you.

Your beneficiary needs to be the one that signs:

G325A for him

DS-3032 - He must sign to elect you as Agent to receive his mail

DS-230 (part 1) He must sign, not you. Part II of this form is for the immigrant to sign at the time of interview.

Those are the forms REQUIRING HIS SIGNATURE.

REMEMBER, a signature is an affirmation information is accurate. You cannot sign someone elses legal documents can you? Can somebody sign your tax forms or job applications? Do you see what I am getting at?
