Hello everyone,

My wife (Canadian) and I (USC) recently got our I-601 and I-212 approved. We got contacted by the Montreal embassy to resubmit our 864 and 260 forms plus other documents.

We recently got another email saying to submit 2 passport photos and her actual passport ( through their courier). Is this a new procedure they are implementing?  In our first interview, we brought them with us.

We also submitted our new documents through the CEAC site but have yet to get an approval check from them ( I read in another post that our paperwork is sent to the back of the line)

Has anyone had a similar situation?

Sounds reasonable that you don’t need to go in person. They have already interviewed her and fingerprinted her. It’s normal that they then ask you to send further things by courier rather than go back in person to the embassy. Now more than ever where they are trying to do all they can to reduce the number of people in the building....
