Did anyone have an interview in Doha for CR1 Visa for Iraqi cases who’s been transferred from US embassy in Baghdad, My wife had an interview request back in November 2020 but she couldn’t attend at that time as Qatar won’t allowed anyone to enter to Doha , I contact the Embassy in Doha and explained her situation and they said we thought she’s local in Doha we will reschedule it for her and let you know when, until now haven’t heard anything.

please let me know if anyone has attend an interview in Doha .

regards!

Our case was transferred to Doha in the beginning of last year . I transferred it to Turkey shortly after because Doha wasn’t making any progress . I know a lot of people still waiting at Doha . I don’t understand why they even make appointments for people when they won’t even let them in the country there and anyone that tries to transfer they won’t let them . Nobody will help us . We are just stuck . What if we have bad emergency they still won’t help us . I’m still waiting in Turkey for my husband interview and I’ve sent expedite request over and over and still keep getting denied .

I appreciate your response and yes I agree it’s so frustrating that we got an interview request but we’re not allowed to attend because of Doha travel restrictions , I tried everything including transferring her case to different countries but NVC told me that will take 3-4 months and I’m hoping that Doha will allow my wife to travel soon, she DQ last year on Feb 😞
