Hello

So my fiance' and I are engaged in a Fiance' visa process but it's on hold due to COVID. I was wondering how is it possible for my fiance' (French Citizen) to come to the US now for a short visit? Can she apply for ESTA? Or any visa that allow her to come here ?

Your help is deeply appreciated

Thanks

Yes, she can visit with ESTA but she cannot travel directly to the US. She would have to go to an unrestricted country or area (e.g. Mexico, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, etc.) for 14 days and then travel to the US. And before departing the unrestricted country she would need "proof of a negative COVID-19 test or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19." https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/fr-proof-negative-test.html

Trump put an end date on the direct travel restriction, but Biden's press secretary said: "On the advice of our medical team, the Administration does not intend to lift these restrictions on 1/26.  In fact, we plan to strengthen public health measures around international travel in order to further mitigate the spread of COVID-19." https://mobile.twitter.com/jrpsaki/status/1351322381864890370
