Has anybody used PO box for I-751 filing?

Hi everybody,

 

Has anybody used their PO box to file I-751? Does USCIS allow to use PO box for mailing address providing of course you put your real address in the physical residence?

You can totally use a P.O. box for your mail. Use your home address for the residence address.

I was thinking of using PO Box for USCIS correspondence primarily 

All i-751 documents will list the current physical address

The reason I want to use PO box because it's safer since we've had some undelivered mail with our current apartment building

 

Won't using a different mailing address be a red flag for USCIS?

There will be no issue unless your PO Box is located in the different city some distance away. You May need to explain if you are receiving mail in Denver if you live in Chicago.

 

Remember USCIS is looking for married couples who live together at same home and share finances. If you provide two wildly separate addresses that may raise a red flag, but you have addressed in the same or adjacent cites you will be good. 

 

I think if you use your local post office box or local UPS store  box is a good idea if your mail situation is insecure.
