Hi All, congratulations for all approvals - I wish you to be reunited with your loved ones as soon as possible. We have received our NOA2, could you please tell us how we find out the NVC number? I am not clear about the stages between NOA2 and the actual interview. Thank you.

Just wait a few days and call NVC. Since you filed through VSC, it only takes them a few days, but CSC takes 3-5 weeks to get to NVC #603-334-0700 follow directions to speak to an officer as their automated system doesn't get updated in a timely manner.

Once they assign a new case number to you, they'll send it to your embassy and will also send you a hard copy in the mail.

Congratulations and welcome to this side of the waiting game!!:dance::dance:

Thank you u2rso bad, I have been dreaming for quite a while to have the opportunity of using dancing smileys or pom poms, like you all. My fiance has called the number recommended by amrsnowangel but they told him he does not have a number and we should get it from somewhere :( . He has sent an e-mail enquring on the number, as he was recommended to. We'll try your phone number too. All the best. :)

This is the number listed on your NOA2. You can also try the state dept, but they won't have a number until NVC assigns one to it, so it won't do any good to call them at this point. After NVC receives it from VSC and enters it into the system, they'll assign the number. Once it leaves NVC, you can call the state dept after a few days to find out if the embassy has received the case. State Dept # 202-663-1225 option 1 then 0 to speak to a visa specialist.

Good luck!
