My husband and I wanted to go to spain for Christmas. I am a spanish citizen with spanish passport and US green card. My husband is american but we are married.

can we go to spain for Christmas? What issues/requirements do we need? And for coming back to the states??

thank you!

First, you should find out about restrictions in the EU and Spain. A lot of countries aren't allowing people from other countries in, so your husband might not be allowed in Spain. You might want to get him a EU passport -- it will take a while, though.

You'd be able to re-enter the US. The issue is Spain. I have a friend who had a baby a year ago and she has not been able to visit her family, because they baby doesn't have the passport from her home country (and the consulate has not been operating, so she hasn't been able to apply for one).
