Hey everyone,

I applied for an expedite of my wife's I-130 spousal visa and it got approved on Sept 25, 2020. The email mentioned that the US Embassy would contact us, however we have yet to receive any email or phone call from them. It's been over a month and I've even tried sending them inquiries on their public form, however they have not responded to anything. When I called the embassy, the person who answers the phone says he is not allowed to give any information, so that's completely useless. Anyone have any idea what I should do now? Thanks!

So I just checked on the US Travel Docs website and I was able to book a date for interview for end of November. Any idea how long it will take for NVC to send us the Interview Letter? Thanks

Did you schedule the interview yourself .. my expedite got approved too. I don’t know what to do next or how to schedule the interview. Should I wait for the embassy to contact me before I schedule the Interview ?

Hi, once your case gets expedited, you have to schedule the interview yourself. Its possible to book it 2-3 weeks from the date of expedite approval

Hi did you schedule your interview yourself or did the embassy call you? I’m also not sure what to do.

The embassy called to schedule the interview. My country was not part of the countries that can schedule their own interview .

I’m from Ivory Coast . When the embassy received my husbands documents a few days later they called him to schedule a medical exam and after the medical exam it took about 3 weeks to get an interview date
