i-130 intended address for couple living abroad

I am filling out the i-130 online and it is almost complete.

One question is bothering me: "Where in the United States does the beneficiary intend to live?"

I do not own property or have a lease, have lived abroad for 9 years in various countries, and currently live abroad. I have the liquid assets for the i-846, 3 years tax returns, USA bank statements, etc. so I do not worry about that. I just don't know what to put here on the i-130. I can put my parent's address, but I will not physically go there when the time comes, I intend to go someplace else.

What I have done is emailed my parent asking for permission to use their address on the form, and I can copy that email into the i-130. I have also written a letter to accompany the i-130 which lists off some of the proof I would use in the i-864 (USA bank accounts, USA investments, voter registration, etc.). And I will attach these things and put their address in the form.

Is this the best course? Or is it acceptable to put "To Be Determined" or something similar in the i-130 form for the intended address?

I've tried searching, but it's very confusing since the rules have changed in 2020 and the consulates in my country of residence are closed / not doing the DCF thing I had originally researched and the "online submission" page doesn't seem to have many forms, just the i-130.

Thank you.

What address is listed for your bills, statements and voter registration?   Use that if it is still valid, or your parent's address.  No need to add the email about asking your parent's permission.

You can always update your address later with USCIS when you know where you want to live.
