Greetings all,

So my wife was scheduled for an interview at the Beirut Embassy on 9/21 for a CR1 visa. When she went there, they told her she needed to upload more documents such as a the family extract and my w-2s and what not. I am not sure what they need exactly. I am waiting to hear from the embassy to find out what they need. I am just reaching out to see if anyone or anyone's loved one was in the same position in regards as to needing more documents being submitted. The part that I am most confused is that they told us to bring the extract with us, not to upload it so I am wondering if this is something new. Also if anyone knows how long to reschedule a visa appointment if we have to wait for them to review them. Any response would help!!

Thanks!

Yes, it is fairly common for additional documents to be requested as a result of an interview.  She should have written instructions for what to upload.
