Anyone have experience with expedited CR1 case? Mine was approved , and is at the consulate since June 1st, awaiting response from Mumbai consulate for further instructions. Any help will be appreciated!!

On what grounds did you request the case to be expedited?

So I was able to schedule an appointment for an interview and VAC, even though I didnt receive any instructions from the consulate to do so. NVC did approve to be expedited. Did I make a mistake by scheduling an appointment?

New member here. My case is EB and DQ in Nov 2020, but not received IL yet. since mumbai embassy is opening June 7th, when can i expect IL?

 

To all EB applicants DQ'ed in Sep/Oct/Nov 2020 --- Please share when you received IL and dates. Thanks.

No clue what "EB" is, this topic is for IR1 and CR1.  Also, none of us know when to expect anything since the interviews that were cancelled in April have not been rescheduled yet.

Exactly. But Amrit. I was one of those cancelled in April. Everyone in April I know and half of may that were cancelled have been rescheduled

I had my interview done as well June8th. Very simple interview for my wife. Documents Checked were PCC, bc, passport, marriage certificate.

 

Questions asked. How did you meet. Love or arranged. What do you like about your spouse. Have you been to Canada. What do you plan to do once you arrive. Names of in laws. Where is spouse now. Where and what does he do for work.

That's good to know, I did not know they had already rescheduled all of April, since nobody else really confirmed it on here.  Congratulations on getting through this rough journey, hopefully I hear something from them this month or next month.

A lot of may has also gotten thru. I thin back when i was cancelled, may interview letters went out till may 15thish, so they also got rescheduled and are taking there interviews. we had to schedule ourselves, you guys will get IL from nvc

Yeah, I gave up on that, no clue why they made it so hard to get into a simple chat.
