Help with tax returns and AOS

I'm a US citizen my wife is not,we live together.
We're about to apply to adjust her status,but i haven't been consistent with my taxes.
In 2017 and 2018 i didn't make much and didn't file taxes but i filed for 2019 and i meet min. requirements.
I'm also using a family member as a joint sponsor

1. Will i still have to file taxes for 2017,18 before i can apply to adjust her status?
2.I recently inherited a home,is this something that's a significant or just minor help with AOS?

Did you make too little to be required to file for 2017 + 2018?

If so, mark the appropriate checkbox on the I-864 and state why you weren't required to file.

If you did earn the minimum required to file but did not file, then you must file those back taxes before you can qualify for the I-864 (and you must provide one even with a joint sponsor).

 

You can list the value of the home as an asset if you want it considered - with all the appropriate documentation to show ownership + current net value (an appraisal may be suggested).

Although they focus more on the income and liquid assets, plus you are using a joint sponsor anyway.

I need some more help.

I've looked at the 2020 minimum annual income requirements but not sure how to calculate for my specific situation.

 

I'm applying to adjust my wife's status,she has a son

I also want to apply to bring my father to the U.S.

 

What would my annual income have to be if i don't use a joint sponsor?
