Hi all, I applied for a GC through him and am applying for naturalization through the 3 years with a USC benefit. I'm wondering, do I have to bring him to my naturalization interview? He was furloughed due to COVID and decided to go out of state to see his family for a few weeks since he doesn't have to physically go back to work for a while (he'd have to quarantine for 14 days if he came back), and I'm still in the city we live in together working (I'm essential) and doing college classes. I have tons of evidence - bank statements, photos, leases, loans, you name it. I have three very thick albums of photos with us and our families, lol. Does he need to come?

Do you have a pending i751 along with n400? If yes, he has to join your interview. If no, then he doesn’t need to go with you.

I already have my 10 year green card, and the interview was waived for the i751. Thank you for the response!

Then you can go by yourself. Good luck.

Please fill out your VJ timeline. No your spouse does not have to go to the interview; in fact he may not even be let in if they only allow the applicant.

Okay, good. I will fill it out. I am sorting through all of my immigration papers today and will fill out my timeline when I figure out when I did what. Thank you for your response.
