Hi, I'm about to move to South Korea with my husband under approval command sponsorship in 2 months, I went to the passport agent office on post a few days ago to apply for a A-3 visa for the tour, but the agent told me that since the name on my passport is not matching the name on the order and other IDs, I could not apply for the A-3 visa there. Therefore I wasn't able to submit my application there that day, right now I'm really nervous about what's gonna happen if I can't get that visa before August. Is there anyone had same situation before? I can't change the name on my passport at this moment due to all Chinese consulates shut down for the COVID19 pandemic , and they told me that they don't even know if they're gonna open back on this year. T-T Any help please.

HenryST, my solution was to have the Army put my wife's name as it appears in her Chinese passport on my orders.  I carried a copy of our marriage certificate but no one ever ask to see it.  We are in Germany but the process should be similar.  tom
