hi all

we know that every state is different but since the phone line is always full and we cannot talk to somebody, we thought that maybe somebody in here have the same problem.

I applied for unemployment and they sent a letter basically saying that I am clear to file weekly.

now that I filed my first weekly claim, it says on the website that there is an issue on file. it has been 2 weeks and we did not get any mail or email or nothing. everyday the phone line is busy and we don't know what is  the issue. is anybody facing the same thing?

state: Missouri

thanks

Phone lines are like that in every state it seems. Your best bet is to log into the unemployment website and see if they have a way to fix the issue there. My friend was trying for 3 days calling over 300 times a day and not getting thru. After he checked on the website they just needed a copy of his last pay stub faxed to them. He did that and the next day it cleared everything up and he was free to file. Try checking the website out under your dashboard, or maybe inbox or messages.
