This was my inquiry asking for the US Consulate to acknowledge my Joint Sponsor.

"I am writing this to make a request for me and my fiance to use my mother as the Joint Sponsor. As you know I am about to graduate in 30 days on May 1st 2020 with a job lined up at TEC INC in Hampton, NH. USA. I will be making 24.04$ an hour which is equivalent to 50,000k a year. Based on my tax return this year, i will need a Joint Sponsor but only for a month before i start my job as a Civil Engineer. My fiance will never be a Public Charge based on my potential and my mother the Joint Sponsor financial status. I pray the US Consulate in HCMC understands our situation and accept my mother as a Joint Sponsor. The Joint Sponsor Financial information will be presented at the second interview."

My fiance submitted my Tax Return of this year and i know that mine does not reach the minimum requirement. But i will be a Civil Engineer in 30 days with a job lined up making 50k a year as a 23 year old. I technically only need my Mom for about a month. AND THIS WAS THEIR RESPONSE? I NEED HELP! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN MY CASE DOES NOT REQUIRE A JOINT SPONSOR.

Don't want to be short or snobbish but it means just what it says. You DON"T need a co-sponsor/joint sponsor to process your visa. They seem to think you are going to be fine for the interview.

Now, I am not sure if she is well versed in the co-sponsorship but if it were I, I would prepare the documents in the event that the CO requires a co-sponsor. Just my opinion. You just never know what is right and what is open to interpretation by embassy staff. Be safe and not sorry.

Thank you.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks
