Hello everyone,

 

I'm currently in Europe and have already been outside of the US for about 8 months. We filed the Removal of Conditions at the end of January 2020. I was planning to come back on March 15th but due to the coronavirus outbreak in Europe I'm worried about travelling now. My husband is in America and he hasn't received the biometrics appointment notice yet. Is it possible to ask USCIS to delay the biometrics for a while? I'm afraid that if I don't come back right now I will miss the biometrics and they will deny my case. I really don't know what to do. I'd rather wait a couple months for this epidemic to get better but I don't know how long it's gonna last. 

 

I will appreciate any advice!

Biometric notices come at varying times. I applied July 2019 and received biometrics appointment in February 2020. If your husband gets the letter, it will have instructions on rescheduling. I don't think you can delay them before they come.
