Hi AP-1 , Are you sure that Delhi don’t  do interviews anymore. But I found on their website and UStraveldocs.com that Delhi is an option for interview . Could you please let me know your source of information. Thanks

 Hi AP-1 ,

I think , you from DELHI . If so you can guide me .

I am planning to have Medical Examination at New Delhi at Max Hospital, Lajpat  Nager . You / VJ members may please share their experience on the following points -

1) Do I have to take appointment for Medical Examination also through UStravelDocs.com , along with Biometrics & Photos ?

2) Can I complete Medical Examination , Biometrics & Photos in one day , as I have to plan my travel plan to DELHI ?

3) Can I collect the Medical Examination report the same day or Max will send it by courier to my address , though UStravelDocs ?

4) Will Max upload the Report to NVC and US Consulate , Mumbai directly also ?

5) What is total amount of the fees and mode of payment ?

            Thanks in advance for  comments.

1)  for medical. You need to call the hospital and arrange the appointment by yourself directly with them.

2) you can arrange both medical and biometrics on one day. But i won’t recommend that. If you miss your biometrics because it took bit long for medical. You will need to rebook biometrics and the date may not be available soon enough.

also. You book your biometrics via ustraveldocs.com

3) they will give you e-medical sheet at the end of your examination along with a CD. You can bring the e-medical sheet to your interview. Hospital will send your medical report directly to consulate.

Sometime they give your the sealed packet. And a CD.  If they do. You take the sealed packet to interview.

in both case. Dont take CD with you to interview. They wont allow it inside.
CD contains your xray images which you take it with you immigrate to US.

5) there is no fees for biometrics. But for medical i have heard around 14-20K

Point 2) I am planning Biometrics in the forenoon and then Medical in the afternoon . Is it OK ?

Point 3) Are you sure that Max will give me the e-medical sheet at the end of examination along with a CD the same day ? This is OK for me .

But  Max says that I must collect the Medical Report after 3-4 days , which means I will have to visit Delhi once again . Can I avoid the 2nd visit ?

Thanks for your interest in replying .

It is ok to book on same day. But its risky. If medical takes too long you wont be able to attend your biometrics.

and as for e-medical. They will give you when ready. Some people get it on same day. Some people get it the next day.

You can also have your biometrics a day ahed of your interview in mumbai.
