When I file the I 130 petition, my wife lived in Nepal temporary to complete her education. Now she is no longer lived in Nepal. She came back to her home country Sri Lanka now. I received a welcome letter from NVC recently. That letter mentioned, My wife's visa interview will be schedule to Nepal Kathmandu US embassy. Therefore, I didn't pay their fee or didn't upload any documents to the NVC. Then, I sent an email and evidences to proof to no longer in Nepal and requested to change the visa interview country based on my evidences. But they are not responding yet. Under these circumstances if I upload documents and pay their NVC payment, are they schedule visa interview to Nepal without caring my request? Guys please advise me

You can go ahed with payment of fees and uploading those documents.

NVC will respond to that request within 30 days.

I changed my interview location during my NVC stage. I uploaded documents and emailed NVC with proof of residence.

They changed my location and gave me new Case number with new DS-260 Confirmation page.

Thanks Ap- 1.

Did NVC issue second confirmation letter and new case number? So what happened that you previously uploaded documents under old case number?

NVC will email you with new Case ID and Invoice Number.

You invoice number will remain same. But Case ID will change.

For now you can fill out DS-260 form and print out the confirmation page at the end.

But once you get new Case ID make sure you print the DS-260 confirmation again with new Case ID on it.
