Hi guys.. I'm new here and I've been looking at people's timelines and I see touched everywhere. I was wondering how do you find out about that? My NOA1 was on April 12 and I'm waiting for my NOA2 and would like to ask for your help so I can find out where my petition stands now. I want to know if it's been touched. Thank you so much and your help will be appreciated a lot.

CLICK HERE and then go to case status and online processing times on the left

start and account, enter your NOA1 receipt number and look at the date of that petition on the "LAST UPDATED" date part of your petition. If it is dated after the date they received it, then it has been touched...check each day to see if that date changes. Your case status will stay as pending so the date is all you have... it is a small thing, but it makes you feel good

HELP HELP HELP!! I'm actually feeling down and can somebody help and lift a fellow petitioner up? I think I understand now what TOUCHED means. They received my application on April 12 and when I logged in to my account it said LAST UPDATED APRIL 14, which means that they have touched it. It's been 63 days and that date hasn't changed yet..so does that mean that they haven't touched it? Does that mean I am not getting my NOA2 this June or by early July? July 12 will be the 90th day. Please please help help. Thank you and my fiancee and I need your prayers.

Awe hey slow down there a bit for a moment. You were touched when they sent your NOA1. This is good news and that means that they have your case. The processing time for this is up to 180 days. Most petitions are approved sooner than that. Look at my timeline... Loke and I waited forever and they never even notified us twhen they did approve the petition. If you sent your petition in April, then your realistic look is July or August. Some people are approved faster and some are approved slower. Do not worry, just check and be patient and you will be okay. There is nothing you can do but hurry up and wait.

This is the longest and hardest part, so try to mentally prepare yourself for it... I won't lie... it sucks to wait, but it is reality :(
