I thought the benefitiary didn´t need to send their birth certificate?

I may be wrong but I think you need it at the time of filing. I have a different list of documents we need to obtain once the NOA2 has been received. But please keep in mind I just gave my lawyer what he requested from me and I am not sure if everything he requested was needed at the time of filing. I am sure more then a few VJrs could let you know when the Birth Certificate is needed. Sorry I couldn't be of more help

Only the USC needs to send a copy of thier BC!!

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008

10 year Green card ordered August 20th 2008

Citizenship any time from feb 2009

24 May 2006: NVC sends our file to London Embassy

8 June 2006: Packet 3 arrives (DAY 101)

25 August 2006: Pack 3 sent to London Embassy registered post

29 August 2006: London Embassy receives my Pack 3 - 9/9/06 pack 4 arrives

SEPT 2006:APPLICATION PUT ON HOLD - WE HAD A FALLING OUT.

MAY 2007:RESUMED THE VISA APPLICATION

6 June 2007: Medical @ 2.30pm - need to get anew GP letter and psychiatric evaluation

Well, we are still waiting ;)

Donna sent her birth cert back on the 28th of March , we received the email notification that they had received it on the 7th April and here we are --still damned well waiting!!! :angry:

How long does it take to link a requested piece of information and one so clear as a birth cert to prove she is my daughter-- to the rest of the file for God's sake!!!!! I just cannot believe it, no wonder people get so angry with this process. I am trying my hardest not to get stressed out but I am getting to the point where anger is taking over from stress and I do not want to turn round and basically say "stuff it" I've had enough, that really would put the cat amongst the pigeons, so to speak. And my daughter and my hubby would not be happy people ;)

Well, rant over for another day, see what this week brings and one other thing, I am well p****d off with the weather over here, rain , rain and more damn rain, I want to be in the sun :crying:

Definitely finished ranting now :blush:
