EAD / AP Approval without Biometric fingerprints??

Hi all,

Over the past few days I have received case updates for myself and my two children on the EAD/AP that were applied for during my employment based AOS (EB1), they are under 21 so on my petition .

It seems my son and I have the status "Case is Approved" for the I-131 and "New Card is Being Produced" for the I-765. All good there.😀

My daughter, who has to have a second biometrics appointment this Friday, as the FBI could not read the fingerprint card, also had the " New Card is Being Produced" status for the I-765 yesterday. That status has now changed to "Case is Approved". Her I-131 status is still at "Case was Received".

Can this be correct for my daughter? I was under the impression that full biometrics are needed for the EAD/AP? Or will the EAD and AP card be individual in her case?

Tks

They must have biometrics info current so they went ahead and issue the cards. I-131 only status is usually "case was received" anyways, even it was approved so no need to worry.

Thank you. I was just a little concerned as now the other two beneficiaries I-131 status has updated to approved. Only my daughters I-131 is stuck at "Case was Received"

As you state they must have the bio's from the Entry or the L-2 visa application.

Don't worry about that status, my i131 status never changed by the way.
