Frustrated with trying to add foreign income

I don't want to fill up someone else's post.. My husband moved here on a K1 from England on August 27, 2019. He worked while in England until he moved here in the US. I've been trying to do my taxes as MFJ with Turbo and then with HR Block. When I go to enter my husbands income, it asks about Bona Fide residence period. He moved in the middle of the year so I'm lost as what to put here (this is using HR Block). When I tried Turbo, it cut my refund by over $3,500 after entering in my husbands income. Now I'm seeing what HR does however it's not letting me enter in dates... or maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I will try. He didn't make very much but I feel like I'm entering something wrong. I went from getting a couple thousand back in taxes to now nothing.
