Hi everyone, I need help and I hope someone can guide me in the right direction. My niece just recently was approved at the US Embassy in Jamaica and was told to drop off her passport (she was initially denied). My question is is there any way to check the status of the visa? I remember years ago when I did the K1 visa I was able to check the status and pick up the passport and have my then husband fly out the same day. Thanks in advance for any help!

She can check ceac.state.gov if the visa issued. Did she sign up for dhl? They should email her when it is available for pickup or drop off if she live in certain area.

Hi, thanks for the info. I thought it was that site but apparently their system is not updated because when I checked the status it said it is still waiting for her to drop off her passport. Now I check today and it said it is in AP (administrative processing) which is odd, I have never seen that happen after approval.
