AOS I-864

Hey all Currently applying for AOS for my wife. Was wondering if it is required to fill out the i-864 form. She already has a job  would bank statements and job letters be enough?

 

I-130 is already approved, she is living in the United States working  under TPS .

Yes, the I-864 is required unless she qualifies for the I-864W. Namely, if she has or can claim 40 SS credited quarters then the I-864W would apply.

A copy of the most recent year's tax return of the petitioner is required, as well as having filed for the past 3 years.

You may be able to include your wife's income in your household income on the I-864.

 

Your previous post indicates you are an LPR. Has your wife maintained legal status throughout her entire stay in the USA?
