Hey!!

Both me and my partner are from the UK but he’s dual nationality and has joined the USAF. We’re filling out the form for the K-1 visa. However, we’re unsure where to put as the ‘Address in the US where your beneficiary intends to live’. My fiancée is currently staying in dorms but is hoping to apply for base housing when married.

My question is where do I put as the intended address? Do we just put the Air Force base or does it have to be specific and precise?

Thank you for any help!!

Does he have family in the US? My fiancé is currently deployed to Afghanistan and he moved out from his apartment before leaving (he works for the navy, but is a civilian so doesn’t get housing allowance). We called the military hotline and asked what to do about the intended address and they said to put a family member’s address. However, if you are unsure, call them and ask - they picked up right away when we called and were very helpful.

Hey,

my fiancée called up Friday and asked and the guy on the phone said he can’t help us or tell us what to put. He said we have to fill it all out ourselves?

He has family in New York but he’s in North Dakota, and I’ll be living in ND with him.

Thank you for your help, we’ll call again and hope we get someone more helpful!

Thanks
