Hi everyone,

I have seen a couple of old posts about this, I was wondering if I could get some more up to date information.

I had my biometrics appointment yesterday, the case type on the notice was the I-485. Today I have received another biometrics appointment, this time for the I-765. As far as I was aware, I only needed to do my biometrics once?

The only thing I can think of is initially I submitted the I-485 on its own, and then a week later I submitted the EAD and AP documents (With the Notice of action from the I-485). Has anybody been able to call them to tell them that you have already completed their biometrics?

Thank you all.

In your case, each notice has 1 barcode on the bottom:

biometrics-appointment-notice-234x300.jp

When they are sent-in together there are 2 barcodes on the bottom; 1 for I-485 and 1 for I-765:

For the I-765 biometrics you can try an early walk-in:

Thank you for this, it makes sense. In theory the I-485 will carry on in the mean time, it should just be the I-765 that is paused now?
