Hello, I have a question please my sister got selected for DV lottery ,she submitted the ds260 and than she got married to her fiancé who were together for a long time (she thought that she needs to fill the form as soon as possible and did not know that she can wait for the marriage certificate, she figured that after) , she unlocked the application to add him, and after few  months things did not go well and had to divorce for a good raison . What she has to do , request another unlock or wait , what are your recommendations, will she have any issues due to this marriage . Appreciated , thank you.

So her current DS260 has her listed as married? She will need to update it once she has the divorce certificate. She will need to bring both marriage and divorce certificates to the interview.

Thank you for your quick response, thou my concern is about her case because it was a quick marriage yet a little bit longer relationship , unfortunately there are things you do not see until you are married. Hopefully this will not affect her case.
