Hi everyone! Do you guys know what can I do if I want to file for VAWA after filing for adjustment of status already? (I already had the biometrics appointment, and Im currently waiting for scheduling the interview for the GC)?Do I need to send a new petition or there's any way to convert the petition of AOS that I already sent to a new VAWA petition? Do I have to pay again the fee? What can I do if my husband files for divorce and pull out the AOS application that is in process right now?

Thank you so much for the response!

Filed: AOS (pnd) Country: France
Timeline

My friend was in a similar situation a few years ago. She filed I-360 with a help of a pro bono legal aid person, and was able to AOS after the approval faster as her abuser husband never withdrew his I-864. She didn’t pay anything for I-360 as she was staying in the shelter at the time and didn’t have a job.
