hi! i'm applying for a spousal based green card (i130). I have submitted everything to the NVC -- the affidavit of support and all the other forms and documents needed for approval.

what's next here when it comes to Montreal? does NVC notify me that the case is complete, send it to Montreal, and then they notify me of an interview date? Or does the NVC notify of when my interview is when it's approved. Thanks, just trying to best figure out what I should be expecting is next in the process.

I think you’ll find out that you’re documentarily qualified or case completed by NVC. They send your file to Montreal. You’ll get an interview letter with a date. People also call NVC to ask if they’ve been assigned an interview date. I’m not there yet, I have yet to receive my nvc number.
