Good day to all. I need help or advice regardingy case. I was interviewed for my n400 2 weeks ago. My application is based on the 5 year rule. I was married before to a usc, divorced and filed for my n400. The officer asked me a lot about my ex wife which I was caught off guard. That includes addresses that we/I lived. I was able to answer some of them but not all of them. Also the officer did not approved my case nor deny, handed me a paper which states a decison cannot be made and we will mail you the decision. Passed the civics test. No criminal record here and taxes are all taken cared of. Should I be worried about this? Is this normal for cases like me?  How soon can I get the interview letter?

Yeah, it's normal. Had you read a few Visa Journey n400 threads about the 5 year rule after divorce, you would have learned that they do indeed inquire about your previous marriage. You could have been better prepared and perhaps have answered all of their questions. At this point, the decision is in their hands and you have to wait.

I would estimate your wait to be of any length from 1 day to 2 months. Since I've been a participant on VJ, I haven't heard of super long wait times on n400 decisions after the interview, unlike some of the other immigration applications where people wait years and years in some cases.

Thanks again Russ.  I waited a year before my case would be interviewed. Hope it will be over soon.
