Green Card from TN Visa through marriage

Hello all!

 

I am a USA citizen.  I recently married, and my wife is a Canadian citizen working in the USA on a TN visa.  We would like to obtain a green card for her.  We are both presently in the USA and were married in the USA.  I read this thread:  https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/585807-tn-status-to-green-card-through-marriage/ .  Is the information still valid?  Should we use an immigration lawyer?  I want to make sure we go through the process correctly.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nothing has changed except for some of the required forms and included evidence has been updated.   To use a lawyer or not is a personal decision
