Hi Guys,

Hope everything is well with ya'll. I just want to ask how long is the waiting time for the interview date in the Philippines?

Thanks.

You are IR/CR-1 NVC will schedule your appt,  and they do things slightly different.

BUT!   Once your case file is at the embassy you can reschedule to an earlier date is you choose

Yup, I am IR1 visa applicant. I am waiting for NVC emails for interview. What do you mean slightly different?

NVC contacts the embassy for a date, the embassy doesn't necessarily give the earlier open date which is why I mentioned you can schedule to an earlier date if you choose, and one is available.

Info on this is within the link I gave you.

CR! took 6 weeks for us at which time I filed for an expedited review. That expedite was approved in 2 days and the Manila Embassy had an online scheduling application that was very quick.  File for an expedited review ASAP. It is a lot easier than getting an expedited review from USCIS or the NVC.
