Have I jumped the gun?

I've just received by email a letter from the NVC saying that our petition has been transferred to the London Embassy. I clicked on the link and filled out and completed the DS-160 form. I then went on to the London Embassy site to pay my fee and was then presented with possible interview dates. I chose a date for July and booked my medical exam. I assumed that my request for interview would be rejected if I was applying too early but everything went through OK. Now I have had no communication direct from the London Embassy so have I booked the interview too early? I would appreciate any help, thanks.

My cr1 case was expedited to London. I didn't receive anything from the embassy about booking my interview. But the website let me and let me pay for courier services too. I got a little worried that I jumped the gun too but I emailed the embassy and they told me to attend the appointment that I scheduled and to print off the instructions page and bring ds260 confirmation. And to not worry about an appointment letter or email (packet 3) lol
