I called today to CSC because I had an address change. I was already approved on May 23rd. She took down the information. I asked her if I had to call NVC and she suggested I call them with the change of address. I asked her if my paperwork was sent out yet, and she told me it would take about 3 months to go from CSC to NVC. I told her that I will call NVC in a month with the change. She told me" I strongly suggest you call today to update your information" I called NVC and talked to the woman and told her my information, and she muttered"You called in the nick of time" This led me to ask if NVC had already received my info, she said it arrived on the 29th, which was yesterday. I also asked her if they had a reference number for my case, and she gave me my MNL#. I ( Like a fool) went and checked the embassy website for an appointment date, no such luck.

If she gave me a MNL#, does that mean my case is OK to be forwarded to Manila? If it does mean the case is OK to be forwarded, what should I be doing to be prepared for the next steps? :help:

Now you wait. The NVC sends the application to the embassy. Then the embassy will do their thing and send a packet 3 to your wife outlining everything she has to have forms, medical, and police report. http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3217.html Go to the manila embassy websit and it tells you everything that you need. Start now but don't send anything until asked by the embassy. you are almost there. :dancing:

I do not have the hard copy yet. I just moved and it could be going to the old address. I will wait another 2 weeks to see if it gets forwarded with the other mail, if not, I will call again and request a duplicate copy.
