Hi I joined this forum because Im in need of help if it’s possible. My fiancee had an interview in moscow for k1 visa on april 30 and was put on administrative processing under 221g and passport was kept and was told she would be sent additional questions to her email and was told she would not need to return for another interview just to wait for their response.

After three hours of the interview they sent her some questions asking about her employment and home address for the past 15 years. She sent the questions on May 2 then on May 6 she received response that a consul had received her questionnaire.

We checked ceac status and on May 13 it finally showed Administrative Processing under Immigrant visa application.

Then on May 23 it was updated and new case date was created still under IV, then in the evening it was updated again and this time it said Application Received under NonImmigrant visa.

Then on May 24 it went back to Administrative Processing.

On May 28 it went back to Application Received. Then in evening it went back to Administrative Processing.

What do all these updates mean? I would appreciate any help.

Hello,

I would advise you to write a request re case status to consulMO@state.gov. Status updates on ceac seem to happen quite erratically, so the best way to find out what is going on with the case is to write to them or call the hotline (8 800 100 2554 - for calls from Russia and 718 425 8337 for calls from US) and file the inquiry.

Hope it helps.
