Completing paperwork for IR1 when resident in US on L1

Hi I’m new to the forum but just hoping for some advice. I applied for an IR1 spouse visa a year ago and it is now with the NVC

My company has just transferred me to the USA on a L1 working visa within a week of being notified by the NVC that they had opened my case I’m not sure how to complete the paperwork because I am now living in the US but the application showed me living in the U.K. originally.

Wont it look wrong to the NVC that my residential address is in the US

Sorry if this seems a bit muddled but the form doesn’t seem to allow for this situation

thanks

David

When would you like to interview in London for the IR-1? If within a year, then wait for now and later follow the NVC steps when you are ready: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/collect-and-submit-forms-and-documents-to-the-nvc.html

Thanks HRQX

Looking at the link you posted I think the first thing for me to do is contact the NVC with my new US address Doh!

Thanks again for your help
