Couple Different Interview Date

Greetings,

 

My wife and I filed N-400 at the same date we had our fingerprint at the same day. We got our interview letters and my interview date is different that my wife's by only one day. Is it possible we go together?

My second question is can I go for interview sooner or later, i.e. if my interview time is 2 pm can I go at 8:00am?

You need to send a mail to your local office and ask them If it is possible to re-schedule the date!

Keep in mind that the scheduling of interview for N-400 is being done electronically, no human intervention. You and your wife might put back into the queue again if you request this.

Does your field office accepts infopass appointment? If yes, I will schedule an info pass so you can ask if you or your wife can do the same day interview.

No, the system wont accept your interview letter when they scan the barcode if you will go more than an hour before your interview.

I believe you have a great experience with immigration staff? I got an interview scheduled but they cancelled the first one on April 24th and they send the notes and scheduled me another date? Do you think the system could count the 24th that they cancelled as my interview date and cause me any issue?

No, USCIS will prioritize your schedule since they cancelled your initial interview notice. Consequences to be put back into queue is for those applicants requested to be rescheduled their interview appointment.
