My husband and I are both Egyptian and communicate mostly in arabic. I'm the petitioner. I hear many people have their interview in English. My husband's english is not that strong although he can communicate simple conversation. Is the interview conducted at the US embassy in Cairo in English? Or does he have the option to get a translator/speak in arabic?

He will have the option to do in Arabic or thru an interpreto"

our embassy prefers it is done in English as the intent is to live in the US

i am not sure how Egypt feels about this

if i were him ,  i  would ask the CO if it makes a difference

if it does ,  struggle thru with English and at this time "practice practice practice English as you are still a few months from interview

most of the time they are concerned with how the 2 of you communicate

he can watch some English TV or look at youtube videos done in English  / that helps
