Hi I had my interview and the officer approved our case but he told us that I was gonna get a letter in the mail because my medical exams were older than 1 year he said that he was going to approve me whenever he got the medical exams and send my green card, but I had to wait until I got the letter with the “instructions” on where to send them, but two weeks later I got my green card, and I cannot make an appointment all the offices say they’re not scheduling infopass or walk ins not welcome, I’m trying calling the 800 number but I wait for hours and I can’t talk to anybody, so I don’t know what to do, I need to go out of the country for a few days but even now that I have my green card I’m afraid that they’re gonna give me any problems when trying to get back in.. also since I’m not a citizen yet, do I have to chnge my name in my passport? To my married name? Or how does that work?

It sounds like that upon further review, they decided to issue the green card. A new medical is not strictly required so long as AOS was filed with a still-valid medical...it's a decision by the IO.

I wouldn't worry about being denied entry more so than any other LPR. Enjoy the trip.

You are not required to change your name on your passport. You would need to book the tickets in the name on your passport, and should carry your green card and a copy of any name change document (i.e. marriage certificate) to link the name in the passport to the green card.

Edit: If you do update your passport to your new name, that is simpler, though. My wife just completed this herself so her green card and passport are in matching names now.
