I have never heard of it happening and would assume it was a mistake if it did.

Maybe you can help, 29 oct. 2018 USCIS receipt of I-601.

13 nov. 2018 USCIS completed expedite request (denied).  No further contact w/USCIS.

14 feb 2019 case status "last updated" but no email or letter.  No explanation other than 1 USCIS operator (spoke to 3 different operators)  who rushed a bunch of info at me to include

..."back dated 8.5 months..."

Haven't been able to verify through another source since USCIS does not do call backs outside US (require 2nd tier Officer) and Online applications section only deals with "Online applications" and no email addresses to write to now since they have "stream-lined" their process.

FYI Wifes I-130 interview was completed 18 oct 2018.  Consulate will approve residence visa, just need waiver approved.

Any help understanding this would be great. Cheers.

My husband had his I-601 waiver just approved 4/10/2019. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to ask my attorney what’s next.  We submitted it last June so about 10 months to get approved .

Very Cool, Congratulations and Thank-you. :)

So far 2 people on this thread, who filed during same month and year have heard from USCIS., so you'll probably get something anytime.

Thank you for your time line and all the best on your approval :)
