Status Still shows "At NVC" After email from NVC

Hello,

 

USCIS approved the case, went to NVC and on Tuesday we received an email stating that The National Visa Center (NVC) received your fiancé (e)’s/spouse’s approved I-129F petition from U.S.
Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy. However, the status on state.gov still shows "At NVC", is this normal? Shouldn't the status change to "In Transit"?

It will not show in transit until NVC actually ships or sends your file out to your embassy. Hard to give you a more definitive answer as none of your time line is filled in. But not to worry about it the hard part is over.
