Hello everyone!

I got my TD and Varicella shots yesterday..will be sending my AOS, EAD etc next week. Now here's the question, we are from Palm Harbor, Florida...where should we send our application?

Send it to Chicago. i did the mistake of sending it where the i130 tells me, which was..TEXAS!!! That was WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was lucky anyway. They route the papers internally, but i do not recommend to test it. I did it, it was fine. I already got 4 letters from USCIS and I have my biometrics soon. But it was a bad week till I got the first letter.

Anyway if you want to make sure by yourself..There is an option if you call the USCIS call center where an automated machine tells you where to send your papers if you are in US or not depending on your ZIP code. I found that option just after I sent my papers. But basically the rule here is, if you are already in US send it to Chicago, otherwise, send it to other place (depending where your US relative lives). Your AOS depends starts with your form i 485. Send it where it tells you to send it.

And do not trust 100% what the people at the USCIS call center says (the IVR (or "automated machine" as i said before:) was right.

My tips are:

- Do a double check before sending anything.

- Remember to have cover letters for every form

- Follow the guidelines here, they are really helpful. I think this is the link (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?autocom=custom&page=i130guide2)

- Good luck..and lots of patience.

Sorry if my post seems a little bit messy. If you did not understand anything, just let me know.
